About

A small charity
built on one rule.

We started Little Flame because we couldn't find a charity that gave one hundred percent. So we built one — quietly, in Alberta, with operations paid for separately so donations never touch overhead.

I.The Rule

One hundred percent.

Every dollar donated to Little Flame Foundation goes directly to kids with cancer and their families — rent, groceries, gas, hotel rooms near treatment, hospital programs in Alberta. None of it funds our office, our salaries, or this website.

That's not marketing language. It's how the books are kept. Donations go into one pool. Operations come out of another, funded by CTN.

II.Why CTN

The engine, paid for separately.

CTN — the Consumer Trust Network — covers all our operational costs end to end. Wages. Marketing. Accounting. Legal. The cost of running a charity properly.

CTN funds this through a network of local businesses who believe charities shouldn't have to skim from donors to function. That's the only reason the 100% model works.

III.Where

Based in Alberta.

We're a small Alberta-based foundation. The families we help are in Alberta. The hospital programs we support are in Alberta. We're not trying to become a national brand. We're trying to do one thing well, close to home.

IV.Founder

James Terry Frost

“A kid in Alberta is sleeping in a hotel tonight because the hospital is too far from home, and your fifty dollars is their groceries this week.”
