The path a dollar
takes.

One hundred percent of your donation goes to a family in Alberta. None of it pays our wages, our software, or this website. Here is exactly how that happens, step by step.

    You donate

    One-time or monthly — the amount is yours.

  2. 02

    Funds pool separately

    Donations and operations are kept in two strictly separate buckets. They never touch.

  3. 03

    We find the family

    Hospital social workers and partners help us identify families whose costs have stacked up during treatment.

  4. 04

    Funds reach them directly

    Rent, groceries, gas, hotel rooms, parking, emergency needs — paid to the source, on the family's behalf.

  5. 05

    We report back

    Every dollar in, every dollar out. Published quarterly.

II.Why the math works

Two pools.
Never mixed.

Most charities are honest people doing hard work — and they take a cut for operations because they have to. We don't, because CTN covers ours.

That's the entire trick. If CTN ever stopped funding operations, we'd say so plainly and stop calling ourselves a 100% charity. Until then, the math is what it says on the tin.
